- I have upgraded to a USR Sportster V.34+ internal and am having one problem.
-
- The modem installed fine under Windows '95 plug & play with one exception.
- When I try to use the dialing directory with various software programs,
- the modem dials three digits and not the intended number. I am assuming
- these three digits are the area code from the dialing properties box
- located in the modem configuration setup. Windows '95 will not allow this
- field to remain blank. Opening a manual terminal and sending the ATDT
- command works Ok.
-
- Has anyone experienced this problem, or can offer a solution.
-
- Thanks in advance.
