  12. I have upgraded to a USR Sportster V.34+ internal and am having one problem.

  14. The modem installed fine under Windows '95 plug & play with one exception.
  15. When I try to use the dialing directory with various software programs,
  16. the modem dials three digits and not the intended number. I am assuming
  17. these three digits are the area code from the dialing properties box
  18. located in the modem configuration setup. Windows '95 will not allow this
  19. field to remain blank. Opening a manual terminal and sending the ATDT
  20. command works Ok.

  22. Has anyone experienced this problem, or can offer a solution.
